On Midday:
Posted at 9:06 AM on October 4, 2006 by Bill Wareham
President Bush announced Tuesday that the U.S. will oppose any ocean fishing practices that aren't sustainable. Midday's 11 a.m. guest Joshua Reichert, the head of the environmental division of the Pew Charitable Trusts, has been leading an international coalition to stop these practices. He'll discuss the state of the world's fisheries with Mike Edgerly (sitting in for Gary Eichten). Call in your questions and be part of the conversation.
At noon, a live broadcast from the National Press Club featuring the head of the National Association of Broadcasters, David Rehr.
