On All Things Considered this evening, Tom Scheck will follow up on Minnesota's 5th District congressional race. Conventional wisdom has it that DFLer Keith Ellison has it wrapped up after winning the primary yesterday, but his contenders beg to differ.
It was a tough afternoon all around for the Twins at the Metrodome. Francisco Liriano's return to the mound didn't go as planned; the rookie left the mound after a couple of innings under circumstances that suggest his sore arm hasn't healed. The bullpen held the A's to only one run, but the home team didn't score any. Chalk up one in the loss column. Brandt Williams will have a report.
