It is the heat!

Sure, it's humid too, but I think I'd still become about as miserable if the dew point were lower. The lawns in my neighborhood would still be crunchy.
Anyway, the combination of heat and drought looks to be the most newsworthy event on the horizon for the next few days. We have reporters looking into the impact on crops, events like the Aquatennial, energy consumption and more. I'm not sure yet exactly how it will play out over the next few days in terms of coverage.
