As I mentioned in a previous post, this evening's All Things Considered will feature an obituary of Army spec. Troy Linden, the Rochert, Minnesota native who died this weekend in Iraq.
Also on ATC, Stephanie Hemphill will report on the ongoing dispute over all-terrain vehicle trails. Lake County holds a hearing tonight on the issue of which state trails there will be designated for motorized use.
As local baseball fans know, Twins catcher Joe Mauer makes his All Star game debut Tuesday. William Wilcoxen has a report on reaction in Joe's old stomping grounds that will air on Morning Edition. For more All Star discussion, tune into the 11 a.m. hour of Midday tomorrow when Gary Eichten's guest will be Howard Sinker. Of course, you can always talk baseball on MPR's Bleacher Bums blog.
