More on Corrigan's departure from the MPCA

Posted at 10:30 AM on June 29, 2006 by Mike Edgerly

Sheryl Corrigan is leaving the MPCA in August. According to a statement from the governor, she plans to spend time with her family before pursuing work in the private sector. Corrigan is a former 3M'er whose state agency regulated her former employer.

A top MPCA researcher, Fardin Oliaei, claimed Corrigan and her administrators prevented her from fully investigating the spread of PFCs, which were used in the production of stain resistant and water resistant products including Scotchgard.
