A new secretary of state, an uneven welcome for Gov. Dayton's $500 giveback, and why did kids have to die before politicians felt compelled to tackle a mental health system they knew was broken?

Rhetorical questions and more on today's news conversation with Mary Lucia of The Current.

When Senate or House vote XX to 15 or less, please list the 15 that voted against. That story, to me at least, is very telling. (Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) and both Texas Senators Ted Cruz (R) and John Cornyn (R) in casting the only “no” votes.)

PS Done nothing? Telling the story's of what others do is not nothing, even if it is passing on stories others are telling. It gives those who might 'do more' the understanding that it can be done. Very important work.
