1,000 words: the new iPhone

There are quite a few images -- many, may I say, deeply disturbing images -- circulating the planet today of people ecstatic about getting their new iPhones after standing in line for a day or so.
But none is more fascinating to me than this one from the line in New York. I'll let you figure out why.
