State Fair through the ages

While waiting for your images from the State Fair, we are occupying ourselves with a trip back in time, browsing the Minnesota Historical Society's collection of State Fair photos.
Machinery Hill in 1913...
If some enterprising person set up a logrolling "ride" today, it'd be the talk of the Fair...

How good were the times in 1947? The war was over, dad was home, and there was nobody to tell you what's in a hot dog.
1975. Surely the human corkscrew is still alive. I need to find him and find out what he's doing now.
