Since I wrote last week about the first test flight (flown by a test pilot) of an airplane I built, people have been asking, "when are you going to fly it?"
There's now an answer. Today.
I took her out for the first extended test flight and all went well and we both lived to blog another day.
Thank you for being so flat, Dakota County.
(If you really can stand one more word about this, you can find it -- and others -- on my aviation blog, which is not affiliated with Minnesota Public Radio.)
Very, very, very cool. And great picture.
Super exciting. Congrats, Bob!
Awesome Bob! What a cool accomplishment.
Been watching you build this plane for years.
Congratulations !!!
Great work Bob! As a Dakota County resident, you are welcome...
Congrats Bob!
This is truly great. Congrats, Bob! And thanks for sharing this with all of us.
Lookin' good.
Now go buzz the tower like in Top Gun...
Woo-hoo! Go Bob!
Congratulations on an exceptional accomplishment.
Long may N614EF fly!
congrats! my brother finally finished his 9/10 size hawker hurricane in the mid 2000s. he started it in the late 70s - starting w/ the wings. My parents moved a lot and we hauled those wings all of the country until he finally had the time and space to finally finish it!
