Tim Pawlenty is out with another one of his highly-produced commercials to tout last Friday's Tea Party rallies in Boston and New Hampshire. He's yet to say much of any substance in the ones so far, but at this stage of the campaign, presidential campaigns aren't about substance; they're about marketing. Flashy images, music, added crowd noise, and a touch of echo create the candidate. Pawlenty is rewriting The Selling of the President. Or at least rewriting the book Barack Obama rewrote.

Here's how it sounded without the showbiz...

Chapter One of both rewrites have the same title: "Stay Out of Tanks"
