CNN has blown the lid off this story! It went to Hawaii to investigate whether Barack Obama was born in the United States, a requirement to be president of the United States. It found he was.
That surely puts an end to the controversy. The nation will now focus on more pressing issues. Let's begin:
The problem is, Obama is still BLACK, and for 90+percent of birther morons, that's the real issue.
( I don't like him because of his foreign policy).
I would be interested to know how the birther case was ever OPENED. Where did anybody get the idea that Obama was not born in the U.S., and why has the myth been allowed to persist and be the subject of so much attention for years now?
The whole location-of-birth thing is a distraction anyway. The main thing that matters is that his mother was an American. You are an American by default if one of your parents is an American, even if you were born in another country.
In addition, Obama's status was pretty equivalent to John McCain's in 2008. Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961, about two years after it became a state. McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone -- not a state, and no longer an American possession -- in 1936 to two American parents.
Holy moses, I think I got a nose bleed about halfway through that phone call on the radio show.
