9 out of 15, leaving me unclassified, unsatisfied, and thirsty for a malt beverage.

12 out of 15 - no hints. Not bad considering I live in Chicago, leaving me unclassified, unsatisfied, and thirsty for a malt beverage.

13 of 15, with one hint, but that was balanced out by my overthinking on the Fitzgerald sinking.

But bigger news: Where are the pithy range of rankings?

12 out of 15. Took one hint, then answered incorrectly.

3 of the ones that I got wrong were due to mis-clicking the answer - Really!. I knew most of the questions because Ilisten to MPR in the car ALL the time as I drive to speak to students. I am happy to be a sustainer

10 of 15 - Of course I counted on Gordon Lightfoot to be accurate on the Edmund Fitzgerald song:

When they left fully loaded for Cleveland

No pithy rankings b/c I couldn't think of any. It's actually the hardest part of doing the quiz.

Seems to me that News Cut quiz-takers should submit ideas for the categories. Otherwise, you know, it's just take... take... take. (g)

Guess I keep up with local news better than I thought while I'm in Hungary. 12/15

14 out of 15, with one hint. Personal Best!

Feeling duped by Gordon Lightfoot.

Still 11 out of 15.

And, of course, I counted on you counting on Gordon Lightfoot (g)

Meh. 10 out of 15. Better than last month's weekly quiz!

12, no hints, and just in time to get the toddler up from his nap.

I'll take it.

14/15-- by far my best ever. Work this week must have been even slower than I thought, given how much I'd read.

8 out of 15, but that's only because I was distracted by the scent/flavor of the crackers I was eating. Or maybe it's because I guessed on half the questions.

14 out of 15... used a couple hints, but only after I guessed first. I would've had 12 out of 15 without the hints. How's that for honest? And my best showing by far.

15/15 My first perfect score. Thanks for the clue on the Current w/Mary, I look at News Cut every day.

10/15 - no hints. I'm blaming Gord too.

15/15- my very first perfect score EVER! I even got the sports question right this time.

8 / 15

Didn't pay attention as much this week as I thought I had.

15/15. My personal best! I did check out the hints on Pawlenty and the Edmond Fitz. questions. I try to ignore any mention of the gov and it's along way back in my memory for the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

El nueve. Sigh.
