Campaign caption contest

Posted at 11:13 AM on November 1, 2010 by Bob Collins (15 Comments)

Mary Lucia's dog, Smudge, is perfect for a poster with the appropriate caption. And it's become a News Cut tradition -- two makes it a tradition -- to hold the caption contest summarizing the various campaigns.

A favorite from two years ago:

"Why can't I vote? All those dogs in Chicago can..."
The rules are simple. Make us laugh.

Seriously? You believe that crazy talk? Though, as a dog, I'll admit I can smell bull---- better than most.

Why can't I vote again? This year I hear even the dead dogs in Chicago get to vote.

No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to find where the left and right meet...
