Great time-line, thanks for the pictures. I hear about these locations but never have a chance to see them.
The Minnesota is close to the bottom of the old Cedar Avenue Bridge today. Of course this was observed while driving 65mph across the 'new' Cedar Avenue bridge--not the most scientific information.
It's not a dud, in my mind. Instead it shows that people are smart enough to build in such a way around a major river that when it floods (as it always has) that there aren't things around to be ruined.
