(Floods in Minneapolis, MN consumed this Mini. Originally uploaded by gomattolson) Like some of the pictures we saw from the Gulf of Mexico during the BP oil disaster, good photography can make bad news beautiful. Take this image from flooding around Minneapolis last night (via Flickr).
By the way, if you're traveling south on I-35 today, sections of the road in Iowa are closed because of flooding.

I live in Ames and the town is split in half by water right now. The hospital can't even send ambulances to the other side.
