Fall of a folk hero

Video has been released showing the Jet Blue flight attendant -- also known formerly as 'the new American folk hereo' -- jumping off his flight by deploying the emergency chute last week.

The most illuminating part of the video is it shows the plane at the gate, not sitting out on the tarmac. He simply could have walked off the plane the way normal people do.
