When it comes to battling the unicorn meat industry, the National Pork Board is all business.

At issue: This ad for unicorn meat:

The unicorn meat was billed as "The new white meat," which the pork people's lawyers insisted was too close to its slogan, "The other white meat." Presumably "the other other white meat" wouldn't be acceptable either. So the Pork Board's attorneys sent a cease and desist order to the unicorn meat industry.

Parody is, apparently, protected speech, however. There is no unicorn meat industry. It was a joke.

I hate admitting I'm this old, but before they went extinct during the Eisenhower administration, I had some unicorn meat. It's not a white meat at all. Very red. Tastes like horsemeat.

Attorneys, otoh, tend to taste like jackasses.
