Quiz: Too clever for easy answers

I signed an autograph for someone at the MPR Open House last Sunday and, because I'm so very clever, I wrote "The answer to question number 9 is (A)." At least I think I wrote "A." I might have written "C." Somewhere out there, someone thinks they've gotten an easy answer. And maybe they have. Or maybe they haven't. As it turns out, we don't do the A,B,C thing, anyway. So whoever has been waiting for the quiz, with my autograph in one hand and your finger on the keyboard in the other, the correct answer to question #9 is the first one.

Unless of course you've already sold the darned thing on E*Bay.

10 this week; and I got the silly ones rights. How on earth did I remember the Lou Reed story? Why?

First of all, I'm a(n aspiring) sustaining member and usually can't wait to read Bob Collins' column on this site.

Second of all, I'm one of the people you gave the autograph of "number 9 is A" to last weekend (it's still hanging up on our refrigerator).

And you know what, I didn't believe you. I got number 9 wrong this week! I think we've got some trust issues to work out, Bob.

Anyway, 9 out of 15. I'll count that as a win.

I only gave ONE "the answer is 9A" autograph. That baby is worth more than you think.

oh my, horrible as usual, and I cheated because I read the tweet about #9. But your question about Lily the Bear was way off...I got it right, but only because I knew you didn't know what you were talking about. Lily was not up a tree...it was HOPE, her cub.

Hope. Not Lily. Right. Will change that. I blame my public school education.

For a change I had a perfect score going and then you started asking questions about animals.

This Iowa farm kid moved to the Cities to get away from animals and no, my final score was just as bad as usual.

I have a trend going, only 6 again. Is no one going to hear Mr Reed because no one cares about his music any more? How sad:(

No seriously link to the story bob.

//No seriously link to the story bob

The hint goes to yesterday's 5x8, which indicated the answer. And the 5x8 item had the link to the story.

If this is progress, I'll take one of the old quizzes. This was not my best showing.

12 out of 15, my best showing yet! I guess I needed an easy quiz. I liked it :)

Bob, just wondering, are you sure that the answer to question 9 is two weeks?
