No matter what common sense tells me, whenever I see a TV documentary or pictures of the early moments of 9/11, I always hope maybe this time the outcome will be different. Of course, it never is.

9/11 came rushing back into the nation's consciousness today when ABC News released images from a police helicopter that were taken that day. It took a Freedom of Information request to get them.

The BBC's Web site has the most comprehensive slideshow of the images.

A slideshow with the story behind the request can be found at the ABC News site. Almost 3,000 pictures were provided to ABC, which has released only a few more than a dozen.

Please, everyone, Google "Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth". Those towers were brought down by explosives, not airplanes. Look at the evidence on youtube!!!! This was an inside job.

Grace, I would just like to point out that you and all other people who believe in these ridiculous conspiracy theories, are insulting every single person that was affected by this day, whether they lost a family member or know somone who did. You're a disgrace. Google and YouTube? Really? Those are your best sources? That makes me laugh. You can find almost anything you can possibly imagine with those sources. I had no direct ties to the tragic events to this day luckily, and yet, hearing people like you talk about this day like you do, make me sick. If the planes didn't bring down the buildings, tell me, where are all of the people that were on the planes? In the towers and pentagon? The actual planes them selves? We may not have had the best president in our nations history at the time, but no one in the government is that dim-witted to try something of that caliber. Please stop with your ridiculous and unbelievable remarks. You're wrong.
