Wow Shaffer is goign way out on a limb there. Dicey but who knows? Maybe it'll pay off.
I notice that some of the meteorologists have revised their predictions -- upward -- tonight. But the predictions are locked down. It's like a horserace.
One meteorologist said two feet a few days ago, progressively backed down to 8 inches in the city, and now -- from what I can tell -- is back up to 20".
Such a business!
I like the Paul Douglas method of predicting snow - take the bottom number and divide by two....So 16-22 inches - 16/2=8. Not sure if this method will work for this storm but on other occasions it has.......
I love that these folks are celebrities around here!
