Consider this early-morning shot from the Hazeltine National Golf Club .
How many people in the news are recognizable merely via their silhouette?
(AP Photo/Charlie Riedel)
Jerry West, a k a, the NBA logo?
Let's try that again: maybe this guy?
(Bob: Can we not post images in the comments? I seem to recall that we could before the switch to the Q...)
No, you can't post images. That's always been the case.
Jerry West...hmmm. Maybe. But how many people look at that logo and say, "Oh, that's Jerry West?"
John Daly
i honestly would not know who that was if you didn't post Tiger..
"i honestly would not know who that was if you didn't post Tiger.."
Looks to me like a picture of another guy ruining a good walk.
He's not alive but when he was, Alfred Hitchcock was probably the most recognizable silhouette in the world. Beyond that in today's celebrity world it probably would be Dolly Parton.
Hitchcock. Great answer.
Alfred Hitchcock= Pycho+Birds= Dolly Pardon
