On MPR's Morning Edition on Thursday, Phil Picardi spoke with Gregory Gray, the director of government and external affairs for Community Action of Minneapolis, about how to access some of the $132 million the state is getting for making homes more energy efficient.

A listener wrote to say we should've provided more information about how to start the process. Right you are, citizen.

Here's Community Action's Web site on the subject, which includes income guidelines etc. That should help you if you're in Minneapolis.

The state has a page on the weatherization program here, although the links to its listing of providers is currently blank. So try this page instead. It has a county-by-county list of providers and Web sites for you to start your weatherization process.

Get cracking, though. Winter's coming.
