Point II: after 40-odd years, They'll have about as much renaming that building as if they tried to rename Wrigley Field.

The Willis Tower has a nice wring to it; much better than The Sears Tower. Helps that, according to the article, this appears to be a reflection of one company's (i.e. Willis Group Holdings Ltd.) development, as apposed to another company's (i.e. Sears Corp.) demise.

Funny enough, a friend of mine in his blog mentioned this, and the first thing I thought of when I heard the name was "Different Strokes"

I'm trying to think of what other name in the history of situation comedy would be as recognizable as Willis. You know, just in case the Hancock Building needs renaming.
