The 'tour' starts tomorrow

I'm kicking off a three month experiment on News Cut tomorrow when I visit Century College in White Bear Lake to hear the personal outlook by some of the students there and -- I hope -- hear about their journey on the road to the future.

These stories are especially heartbreaking in light of the funding cuts facing the colleges. These students--hardworking family people who just want a decent future-- are doing their best to keep their heads above water, and instead of throwing them a life preserver by keeping education possible, Pawlenty's throwing a rock at them.
