Here's the link to the live video feed from the House.

Update 2:41 p.m. - I had connectivity issues with the Cover It Live interface. So I've had two set up a second session. We'll consider this following one "Part II" and the lower one Part I. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For those joining us that haven't before...

* If the auto-scroll makes it hard to read, click the off-white button just to the right of the speaker icon. That will turn off the auto-scroll.

* Now that you know where the speaker icon is, you can click it to toggle off the sound.

And... enjoy.

Someone may want to update the number on your news page, Franken has taken a 100+ lead. Some might consider that to be news.

Sarcasm aside, we're not updating the tally except as provided by the SOS. We realize there are a lot of people who are posting what they think the current tally is, but we don't work that way.

Nowhere have I seen an explanation for the basis on which the Secretary of State's office will allocate the withdrawn challenged ballots. Do these ballots already have an allocation from the hand recount in each precint? If so why don't we know what those allocations are? If not, how will the Secretary of State decide and why wouldn't it be the same process they have used on the actively challenged ballots?

today, the board hears of a withdrawl and then votes where to allocate it. I assume that's when it goes into the count.

I'm not sure I understand your response. Are you saying the board is going to use the same procedure for the 5000 withdrawn challenges as for the 1400 or so active challenges? Isn't that going to take several more full days of having the board review ballots?

anyone have the link to the Lizard man Ballot or the Flying Spaghetti monster Ballot PDF?

thanks!
