John McCain was in Lakeville on Friday. So we update the Visit-o-Meter. We're still trailing 2004, and it looks unlikely we'll reach our goal in the "we matter" drive of presidential candidate visits.

I am just glad that, even if its temporary, McCain used his visit here to tamp down some of the ugly rhetoric and mob-like atmosphere of his recent events.
Maybe we can get Palin to come here and dose her with some Minnesota Nice, too?
