Cindy Carlsson of St. Paul too me up on my request for your photographs of Minnesota colors this weekend.
It always amazes me how hard it really is to capture the gorgeous colors of fall, but here is a shot from the southern end of Wild River yesterday (Saturday). I'm still sorting through them to post on my own blog (hopefully sometime tonight), but thought I'd give you one for your collection too.
Few photographers can capture St. Paul the way Teresa Boardman can.
Sara Kimm of St. Paul took the following photo at Beers Lake, Maplewood State Park, Pelican Rapids, MN, on Saturday October 11, 2008.
If you'd like to add to the collection, go here.
I may be a day late and a dollar short but this little post reminds me that in all of the stuff we think that is important (and some of it IS) time continues to march on, nature continues to work her (his?) magic, and that there is absolutely nothing we can do about it, other than to go along for the ride. So enjoy!
Thanks, I needed that!
This fall I am trying to take the time to appreciate the beauty rather than get stressed out about the economy that is beyond my control.
Thank you for sharing such gorgeous photos!
