Stick a fork in it. The Pregnant Teen Pact story is over.
Lindsey Oliver, one of the pregnant teenagers in Gloucester, Mass., says there was no pact among the teens to get pregnant. She told Good Morning America today that the 18 pregnancies in the high school are a coincidence. She said she was using birth control when she got pregnant.
She also disputed claims that movies like "Juno" are glamorizing pregnancy. She said the claim doesn't make sense because the character couldn't care for her own baby and had to give the child away.
Not that anyone has let the facts get in the way of this story.
i am a pregnant teen as well i am currently 8 monthes along and this may be shocking but im 13 . im trying to figure out what to do and idk. im just confused.
well, u shoulda thought bout that before f***in, Kayse. sorry but its like totally your own fault for gettin jiggy so young.
ur 13 you should keep your legs closed
Well, I don't think it's Kayse's fault, but I do have to admit that getting, uh, at 13 is too early. You should have waited.
Kayse, I see that all the other comments have been really mean... I know your baby is already born and its to late to help you with what you have picked to do.... I know being 13 and pregnant is hard. I had a friend who was 12 when she had her baby. It was hard. She had to grow up faster then the rest of us. I hope you picked the the right choice. If your ready i hope you kept your baby. Raising a baby is hard but if your a stronge person you can do it. Im 20 and im having my first child. But I have helped raised my little cousins since I was 7. Then the father of my baby has two other children and i have taken them on and I am raising them. God bless you and I hope your happy. for the rest of the people who wrote the comments i hope you feel like s***. You never tell people what you have told this girl.
Well i would like to give an shout out to my big couisn well she's about to have two children. But when she first had her child she was only 19 when she had her baby. But i know that i have to wait until i get marriend.
well i became a teen mother 21yrs ago and i made it threw. my 19 yr old had her child 2yrs ago and she has a great support from me cause i had her at 17 yrs old. just make the best of it make sure youtell your child everyday you love them no matter what
Thats a load of ... cr#p!... Age is only a number it doesn't make her a bad mum. You don't know anything about her or her situation. it wasn't planned obviously, if it was then yes shes an idiot. these days 13 isn't young at all there are 10year old kids having sex or doing sexual acts get with the times people, its happeneing everywhere so just come to terms with it, she knew what she was doing,. I was 15 when i found out i was pregnant.. only had lost my virginity a month prior to that. And just 6weeks shy of my 16th birthday. I know have a happy and healthy 20week old daughter, I would give my life for her. Im a great mother, and i know that so does anyone else. Im better than alot of older mums i know. I do not support teen pregnancy i think its stupid cause not everyone has their head screwed on, i have my life mapped and and planned i know where i wanna go. I have a loving fiance, and im 17 in 3days... Im getting married on the 12th may 2012, im soon going to hopefully doing my hairdressing appretiship, though i wasn't in school when i fell pregnant, i left and started working full time cause i wanted to get my life on track. so beign at school would be alot harder. but it never stops you from doing what you want in life, hey i would rather be at home with my family than out getting drunk and sleeping around with my mates. Your life is what you make of it. Don't let strangers bring you down. Stay strong for you and your baby :) goodluck
I'm neutral on the whole situation only because I support both sides. My great- grandmother was 19 when she had her first kid. My grandma had her first child the day after her 16th birthday and the baby died at birth. And my mom got pregnant with my brother when she was 17 and had him when she was 18. That's 3 generations of women in my family with teen pregnancies. It is up to me not to be the fourth. I have pledged y abstinence until marriage so be sure that I myslef will not get pregnant. Also, I want to be sure that I am in love with the person I lose my innocence to. To the pregnant teen mom's out there, my heart goes out to you. Do what you think is best for you and your child, and teach others from your mistakes. To girls who aren't pregnant, remember that protection doesn't work all of the time. God bless you all, and think thoroughly through serious situations like having sex and what to do with your unborn child.
okay...im pretty sure this girl knows she has made a mistake and dont need girls like yall telling her how much she messed up im sure she knows right now my cousin is fifteen and pregnant she is scared out of her mind and i am to i used to party every weekend and have sex but seeing her now is a reality check i really want to change hoe i live my life im not gonna be pregnant at fourteen but i no you have had the baby already but i wish you the best of luck with everything!!!
