Poliça's growth over the last few months has happened at such a rapid pace that it's getting hard to keep up. Not only did their upcoming Valentine's Day CD-release show at First Avenue and appearance at the Current's 7th Birthday Party sell out before fans even had a chance to absorb their debut LP, but their new music video for single "Lay Your Cards Out" debuted today on Life+Times, a website operated by rap mogul Jay‑Z.

The video was filmed locally and directed by Chris Hadland, whose style you may recognize from his work on the collaborative MPLS.TV video series City of Music. The simple, sultry aesthetic of the video is the ideal complement to Channy Leaneagh's stirring voice.
