United States of Americana: Time Machine, Americana style! (1969, 2009)

On this Time Machine Weekend, I decided to play along! I chose 1969 and 2009 for my featured hours.

1969 was a pretty monumental year. Country rock was getting big. I featured artistst like Neil Young, Tony Joe White, The Rolling Stones and the Band. Also heard some old-school country from Del Reeves, Merle, Johnny, and even Kenny Rogers!

2009 was the year the USofA began! I featured tracks from the Avett Brothers, Justin Townes Earle, Son Volt and others!
