The Current has gotten our hands on the new Black Keys single "Lonely Boy," and starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, we'll be playing it every couple of hours. Tune-in throughout the day to hear it, and watch this blog post, where we'll post the audio as soon as we're able!

"Lonely Boy" is the first single from the Keys' new album El Camino, due out December 6 (check out the album art on the right). In anticipation of that release, and as part of Record Store Day's "Back to Black" Friday, the band will release a limited vinyl 12" of the single on November 25, the day after Thanksgiving.
The cover for the Lonely Boy 12" has an interesting story too. According to Rolling Stone, art director Michael Carney went back to where Rubber Factory was recorded (a photo was featured on the cover of that album too); but all that was left was the bulldozer and pile of rubble. So he took a picture of that.
