People on the Internet let out a collective "What the... ?" last night when the band Foster the People (with the #3 song on the Billboard charts) brought out the much maligned Kenny G to perform with them on stage during Saturday Night Live.
Of course they also started out the night with their big hit:
Which is a slightly more, ahem, "pumped up" version than when they visited our studios last April.
I can't imagine they won over any new Kenny G fans, and it's not terribly likely that Kenny G is gonna pick up some of that FtP love... so the endgame? Is this just a ploy to get more buzz?
as much as i like foster the people the houdini performance was EXTREMELY gay. and it wasn't kenny g it was mark foster prancing around like a little schoolgirl.
i liked it, WTF is right, but that is the beauty of live music - mix it up!!!
