United States of Americana: "Oh Brother" turns 10!

Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? is a little more than 10 years old. The film was released back in December of 2000 and somehow the soundtrack ended up being one of the ultimate collections of americana. I featured a couple of track from, the just released, deluxe edition, which features a bonus disk with a bunch of unreleased songs! In September we will be giving away several copies on United States of Americana and on the 18th at 8am, we will be airing an hour long radio special, hosted by David Wild, featuring commentary from the albums producer T-Bone Burnette.

We also checked out some new americana from Matthew Sweet, The Gourds, and Blitzen Trapper.
