Overcast days make for tough days to get up and get going. Jill and I seem to be a little groggier than usual today, and we're thinking that might be at least a little to do with the weather; perhaps you can relate. So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, we're thinking about songs that have to do with sleep - whether you're inclined to sleep in today or take a little nap in the afternoon.
Songs played:
The Beatles "I'm only Sleeping"
Belle and Sebastian "We are the Sleepyheads"
The Postal Service "Sleeping In"
Low "Try to Sleep"
Semisonic "Singing in my Sleep"
The Beatles "Good Night"
Beatles - I'm Only Sleeping
Dandy Warhols - Sleep
Pixies - I've Been Tired
Sleepyhead by Passion Pit
"I'm Only Sleeping" by, of course, The Beatles. One of their best melodies, I'd say.

Jason Mraz: Sleep All Day
Barenaked Ladies: Who Needs Sleep
Barenaked Ladies: When You Dream

Romantics- Talking in your sleep
This one isn't Beatle-proof: I'm only sleeping
Sleep by Azure Ray would be lovely; been wanting to hear it all day!
Boomtown Rats "Sleep (Finger's Lullaby)".
I used to sing this song to my kids when they were really little because it was often the only slow song I could think of. Maybe that explains a few things ...

It's nothing to cry about
'cause we'll hold each other soon
In the blackest of rooms"
