Monday: MC5, "Kick Out the Jams" (1969)
Debut, live record from the MC5. This record was recorded live at Detroit's Grande Ballroom on October 30th and 30rst, 1968. The song "Kick Out the Jams" had a very naughty, f-word at the beginning. It was creatively edited out on this pressing. "Time to kick out the jams brothers and sisters!"

Tuesday: Jeannie C. Riley, "Harper Valley P.T.A." (1968)
Country and pop crossover artist. Her biggest hit, on both charts, was "Harper Valley P.T.A."

Wednesday: Marshall Crenshaw, "Downtown" (1985)

Thursday: The Beau Brummels, "Triangle" (1967)
Great psychedelic record from San Fransisco group The Beau Brummels. This record is a return to original material, after their covers album, "Beau Brummels '66," didn't go over very well with critics and fans.
Their biggest hit was in 1964 with "Laugh, Laugh."

Friday: Kiss, "Kiss" (1974)
The debut record from Kiss! We played "Cold Gin," a song penned by Ace Frehley and sung by Gene Simmons. Funny that Simmons sang a song about gin, since he's never had a drop of alcohol in his life (or so he often claims).
