Monday: Slade, "Slayed?" (1972)
British, glam rock band, known for intentionally misspelling their song titles. Huge influence on heavier rock bands of the 80's (Quiet Riot covered and had a huge hit with "Cum on Feel the Noize").

Tuesday: Pink Floyd, "Meddle" (1971)
This record's signature track is "Echoes." It clocks in at around 23 minutes and takes up the entire side 2. We didn't have that much time during Random Vinyl to play it, so we chose "One of These Days." That track is mostly instrumental, with the exception of drummer Nick Mason doing some spoken word vocals.

Wednesday: Sandy Nelson, "Let There Be Drums" (1962)
Sandy Nelson is a well-known drummer from the 60s, who wrote his own hit songs and was a session drummer. His own hits included "Teen Beat" and "Let There be Drums." He lost his right foot in a motorcyle accident in 1963, but continued to play and record.

Thursday: Cheap Trick, "Dream Police" (1979)
The band's biggest-selling studio album, released after their big breakthrough, "At Budokan." The title track was a huge single, but there's plenty other catchy stuff on it too, including Steve's choice, "The Way Of The World."

Friday: The Beatles, "Help" (1965)
The UK version is part of the official Beatles discography, The North American version is more of a soundtrack/score to the film.
