Jeremy Messersmith and Rogue Valley at the Zoo

Local indie heros Jeremy Messersmith and Rogue Valley will be playing a show together Friday night at the Weesner Amphitheater at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley. Rogue Valley are a band featuring Twin Cities singer-songwriter and scene fixture Chris Koza, fusing his traditional rootsy indie folk and rock style with rich, layered pop orchestration. Koza made it his goal for Rogue Valley to release four albums in a one-year span portraying all four of the seasons, and you can now buy all four of them as pay-what-you-want downloads for a limited time. Jeremy Messersmith is a Current favorite whose three albums of somber, smart indie-pop have been staples of our playlist and who has joined us for interviews, in-studios and other features more times than we can count. Don't miss this epic pairing of two of the Twin Cities' greatest musicians! Doors are at 7:00 p.m. and music starts at 7:30.
