Monday: Smith, "Minus-Plus" (1969)
This band was famous for covering the songs "Baby It's You" and "The Weight." This record wasn't a huge success and the band broke up not long after it's release.
Tuesday: Tom Jones, "Live in Las Vegas" (1969)
Recorded live at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. You can almost hear the panties being thrown on the stage...
Wednesday: The Grass Roots, "Golden Grass" (1968)
Rob Grill, the lead singer for The Grass Roots died recently. We played "Let's Live for Today" in his honor, from this greatist hits collection.
Thursday: Elvis Presley, "Moody Blue" (1977)
The last Elvis record to be released before his death. It was pressed on blue vinyl. Attention vinyl collectors: if your copy is pressed on black vinyl, it just might be worth some money!
Friday: The Chantays, "Pipeline" (1963)
Instrumental, surf rock band from California. Their biggest hit was "Pipeline." The song has since become a surf rock standard.
