Twin Cities' The Chambermaids are working a new album, and posted the first single, "China Blue," to YouTube today.

As they describe it:

"China Blue," the new single from the Twin Cities based band The Chambermaids, represents the next phase of post-shoegaze reverb rock. Dreamy yet concise, noise but pop, the chiming wall of Jazzmasters tells the story of someone trying to pass as an adult and failing... but unaware that she is failing.

Personnel:
Neil Weir - guitar and vocals
Martha Weir - bass and vocals
Nate Nelson - guitar
Alex Rose - drums

Released on Guilt Ridden Pop
Recorded and mixed at The Old Blackberry Way in May and June of 2011
Mastered by Huntley Miller at HM Mastering
