Tuesday: The Stray Cats, "Built for Speed" (1982)
U.S. debut for The Stray Cats. The tracklisting features cuts from the two albums they had all ready put out in the U.K.
Wednesday: The Moody Blues, "In Search Of The Lost Chord" (1968)
The Moodies' "Knights In White Satin" first introduced the whole "spoken poetry section"-thing in their songs. Today we played "Om" - beginning with a spoken dissertation on the Hindu word, flowing into a sitar-and-flute-laden chill out. Enlightenment is waaaay groovy.
Thursday: The James Gang, "Yer Album" (1969)

Friday: Original Motion Picture Score, "Midnight Cowboy" (1969)
Getting in the mood for the Oscars this weekend. Midnight Cowboy won three academy awards in 1970 (and it was rated X, how scandalous). The memorable track from the film is Nilsson performing "Everybody's Talkin."
