Reggae's greatest practitioner, Bob Marley would have turned 66 this weekend. (Sunday) So, I thought it would be fun to intersperse a bunch of Marley tracks into my shift today. His influence on music, reggae and otherwise is undeniable. The man wrote some of the most timeless and powerful songs of all time.
BTW: Monday at 9pm we will be running a Bob Marley special called Live Forever, which is also the name of a new album of music from the last concert Mr. Marley performed in Pittsburgh, PA in 1980.
Hey Bill! I was only able to catch a few minutes of the special, Live Forever, but what I did hear was amazing! How can I access the stream now to listen to the whole thing? Thanks, and cheers!
