Most people either love or hate the Grammy's. (I'm guessing members of The Black Keys and The Roots are loving them right now.) Here are a few winners worthy of note:
Album of the Year
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Best Americana Album
Mavis Staples - You Are Not Alone
Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals
The Black Keys - "Tighten Up"
Best Hard Rock Performance
Them Crooked Vultures - "New Fang"
Best Rock Song
Neil Young - "Angry World"
Best Alternative Music Album
The Black Keys - Brothers
Best Rock Album
Muse - The Resistance
Best Urban/Alternative Performance
Cee Lo Green -F*** You
Best R&B Album
John Legend & The Roots - Wake Up!
Best Traditional Folk Album: Carolina Chocolate Drops
Best Contemporary Folk Album: Ray LaMontagne And The Pariah Dogs
And a notable loss: Best New Artist went to Esperanza Spalding, not faves (at least from The Current) Mumford and Sons or Florence and the Machine
