If you don't get a chance to listen, it will be available on the TCP website the day after it airs.
It's great to hear this stuff on The Current. However, when you mentioned the great Bajofondo show in Minneapolis last year, you said it was at the Varsity. But it was at The Cedar. This may seem like a minor point, but since those of us who work at The Cedar make a specific effort to bring this music to the Twin Cities (and it's part of our non-profit mission), we feel it's important to let folks who are interested in seeing it live know where they are most apt to find it. We're hoping to confirm a Bombo Estereo date in May, by the way.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for playing latino alternative! I grew up listening to caifanes and cafetacuba and all the rest in mexico, and to hear them again in my car - in the midwest usa - so far from my home country ... Brought a giant smile and made my day. Thank you!
Rob- thank you for clarifying the concert location. I apologize for the confusion. I will make the correction on the web audio. I hope you get a chance to listen to the second hour on the website. Looking forward to a live Bomba Estereo show.
