TRADI-MOD vs ROCKERS "Alternative Takes on Congotronics" on Crammed Discs
I'm a little late to this double disc compilation which came out last year but now I just can't take it out of my car stereo. It's great driving music and might also be good for headphones at your desk. Try it, you might like it even if you aren't a big fan of the experimental musicians involved like Animal Collective, Deerhof or Tussle. Even if you have no idea what Congotronics actually are! The Tussle track I played tonight at 8.50 might be a big 'getyafreakon' song for me and the Andrew Bird track at 9.40 will be interesting to discuss with my colleagues on the Classical side of the cube farm here at MPR. Something a little weird for Wedneday.
