Golden Years - David Bowie turns 64 this Saturday

On Saturday, January 8, 2011, the Current will celebrate the 64th birthday of the Patron Saint of glam, punk, post-punk, new wave, industrial - heck, pretty much the most influential musician of the past 40 years: David Bowie.

Listen in to hear Bowie's career celebrated as a featured artist on Teenage Kicks from 8-10am, then Bill DeVille and Mac Wilson will delve deep with a 64-song tribute from 12 noon to 4pm, and David Campbell will feature some favorite Bowie suggestions during Radio Free Current Saturday night from 7-11pm (get your request in now).
