Much beloved local singer-songwriter Jeremy Messersmith has announced a very cool remix project: he's intiving you to remix songs from his album The Reluctant Graveyard. He's making it free, easy, and even planning to use sales of the finished products to benefit one of his favorite charities.
"The Reluctant Graveyard Charity Remix" project provides "stems" from all of the songs on the album for remixers of all ability levels to try their hand at, and when the finished products are collected, Jeremy will offer them for sale with "pay what you want" pricing - with the proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.
There's a catch, though: Jeremy's only giving you two weeks to get your remixes done and send them back - the deadline for submissions is December 29th.
So, here's your chance to put your own creative stamp on Jeremy's stuff. Get crackin'!

This is AWESOME.
Dear Jeremy Messersmith:
If you can read this, please understand that I regret only having heard of you this year. "The Reluctant Graveyard" is spectacular. I'm guessing no one I know is going to get it for me for Christmas, so I'll be picking up a copy ASAP.
I can't believe I haven't already.
Thanks, and I can't wait to hear more.
- Maggie.
