Very cool idea.
How fun! I can't wait!!!
1991: Cows, "Cunning Stunts." Play loud!
Brilliant.
Sweet!
You are playing THE BEST 1981 tunes!! So great!!!
This has been great so far. I'm loving it.
2001 takes me back to junior year of college. I know every song so far...lots of great memories! Looking forward to more.
Man the hours of the 80s are gonna give me some SERIOUS flashbacks to Junior and Senior High School.
This is a very cool idea and it sounds awesome coming out of my laptop. I wish I worked at The Current. What a motherf'ing great radio station. Much better than anything I've ever know in this crazy East Coast de mierd, llenos de hdp. #RockOnMinneapolis!!! YouRULE.
Oh man, I hope we're going to be able to access this after the fact... I just found this and would love to be able to hear some of the years I missed.
The Suburbs in 1992. I think "Waiting" was 1982. We numerical mistake. Still great to hear the song!
Do the Time Machine every year! It's awesome to remember random years and what I was doing then. Very eye (ear) opening. Cheers! to whomever came up with the Time Machine idea!!!
wish this was my idea..
Your plylist thingy stopped working around freakin 4:30pm on Saturday 11/27. BU.SH.
crapo. How many listeners of The Current are Latino or speak Spanish? Abyone, anyone? SO how come there;s an ad for "Tiempo Libre" or whatever that is:I*
Greetings
Love you station but do not like this "Time machine" format at all. I prefer to see you focus on new music/new bands with the occasional classic tracks mixed in. That is what makes you special. This format does nothing for me and is frustrating because now I need to wait for new material for my next mix tape. Looking forward to Manday for a change!
Such a great idea. You all are a reminder of how brilliant people are when they get together with the intention of doing something well.
Just want to let you know I am loving Time Machine weekend. I hope you continue to do this every year. Had so much fun listening to 1984, which is the year I graduated from high school. Great memories! Thanks!
This weekend has totally rocked! What a fun idea.
"Fox on the run!" Awesome!
Thanks to everyone at 89.3 The Current for memorable weekend!
I loved the Time Machine Weekend! Hopefully this will be repeated. This was a great idea and very entertaining. Thanks!
