Monday: Gary Numan, "I, Assassin" (1982)
A funky, frettless bass-heavy record from the synth man behind the '80s hit "Cars."

Tuesday: The Kinks, "Sleepwalker" (1977)
Critics call this the "arena rock" phase of The Kinks.

Wednesday: The Five Man Electrical Band, "Five Man Electrical Band" (1969)
Before these Canadian rockers had their big hit with "Signs," they had some cool albums in the late 60's. This one in particular I can put on the turntable and enjoy the whole way through.

Thursday: Harry Nilsson, "A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night" (1973)
Harry Nilsson recorded an album of classic standards, before it was a hip thing to do. It was an example of how eccentric Nilsson was, but also a fine example of just how well he could sing.

Friday: Cher, "The Sonny Side of Cher" (1966)
Cher's second solo record, produced by Sonny Bono. Basically a covers album, with a few originals written by Sonny.
