Today's 9:30 Coffee Break is a salute to the mouth organ, otherwise known as the harmonica. We're putting together a broad cross-section of tunes showcasing the world's favorite pocket-sized instrument.

Songs played:
The The Dogs of Lust
Stevie Wonder "Fingertips pt 2"
Bob Dylan "Subterranean Homesick Blues"
The Beatles "I Should've Known Better"

So I don't know if any of their songs use a harmonica, but there's a story behind this band suggestion:

KC and the Sunshine Band

My dad grew up in Chicago and I always loved this story:
One time he was at a small club and back in his day, Dad was quite the harmonica player. There was some unknown band playing and they asked him to come up and play/jam with them. He gets up on stage, starts playing and about half an hour later, makes a mistake and then accidentally yells, "Oh F**k!" right into the microphone for everyone to hear. The band tells him that he's got to get off stage, because they're family friendly and that language doesn't fly. That band was KC and the Sunshine Band.
So in honor of my dad being kicked off stage by KC, if you can't find anything by them, could we play something by The Rolling Stones, his favorite band?

You have to play some Blues Traveler, I've always enjoyed "Crash Burn" it really showcases the Popper's skills.

Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Neil Young... those guys were "alright" too ;-)
