A few months ago The Current started tossing around ideas for a way to bring the feeling and energy of The Current outside of the Twin Cities. With the help of the Minnesota Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund we were able to make one of the ideas (sorry The Current blimp...maybe next year) a reality.

SO here's the idea. We take a band that exemplifies what The Current is about here in the Twin Cities; toss them in our 89.3 The Current van along with one of your favorite hosts, some audio/visual equipment, bumper stickers, a few energy drinks and bring them to your town.

This month we're hitting up Duluth, MN and Jeremy Messersmith and Barb Abney are along for the ride.

Once we get to Duluth we'll go to our home base of Beaner's Central. The free show will start at 7pm and we're welcoming all ages. Jeremy and Barb will start the show off with a interview/conversation of whatever comes to their minds, not to oversell, but I think it will be entirely enlightening. After the interview, Jeremy will play a solo show followed by a meet and greet with the audience.
